On Monday afternoon, a fire engulfed the Godulla area, on the Seman coast, an important habitat for migratory wild species and with special vegetation. The causes of the fire remain unclear, while strong winds have favored the spread of flames in this delicate natural environment.
Fier firefighters have arrived at the scene, however their intervention has been made impossible due to the surrounding water, which makes access with the necessary equipment difficult.
Authorities are continuously monitoring the situation, while the potential damage to biodiversity in this protected area remains a concern.
