Shocking details have emerged from the incident in Orikum, Vlora, where the man strangled his wife and then committed suicide. From the police investigation and the testimony of the two sons of the couple Sose and Llogora Xhebroj, it turns out that the 40-year-old woman had left the apartment for her parents' house for about two months. Sources said that they were living separately, although they had not yet started divorce proceedings. On the day of the incident, Sose Xhebroj had returned to the apartment to get her clothes. Her 15-year-old son was also at home with her, while the older son was at work.
Upon arriving there, Llogora Xhebroj, who had a small shop that worked and provided income for the family, also came to the house. "My father told me to go to my brother's work, that he would go out with my mother. I ran away," the minor son says in his testimony.
When he arrived at his brother's work, knowing about the problems between his parents, both sons called their mother, but she did not answer.
"We headed home. We found my mom with a bandage around her neck. We tried to help her. We called the ambulance, but when the doctors arrived, my mom had passed away," the son declared through tears.
The police, notified by the couple's sons, arrived at the house and found that the woman had been raped and strangled. Then Llogora Xhebroj had gone to the garage of the apartment and committed suicide with a firearm, a pistol. From the testimonies of the family members, it resulted that the couple had had problems for some time and the husband was violent, until Sose Xhebroj was forced to leave the apartment. In no case had she gone to the police to file a complaint, but had chosen to leave the house and go to her parents' house.
