SPAK, in collaboration with the Italian authorities of Brescia, has conducted another extensive anti-drug operation, striking for the second time the group led by Elvis Doçi, known as the "Visi i Pojës". The operation has been extended in parallel to several cities in Albania and Italy, while the Italian media have published the full list of the arrested persons.

During the action carried out in parallel in Tirana, Durrës, Elbasan, Cërrik and Kavajë, the following were arrested:

• Altin Shehaj, Kavajë
Igli Haxhiaj, an Anti-Terrorist officer and previously part of the Operational Forces, has also been detained.
How did the network work?
The criminal group targeted is suspected of trafficking large quantities of cocaine from South America to Italy and then to other European countries. According to the investigation, the organization had well-defined structures, with operational bases in several cities in Albania, while the trafficking was carried out through sea and land routes.
The operation is considered one of the largest this year and comes after the first crackdown on this group, leading to the destruction of one of the most important international drug trafficking networks.
