
A 28-year-old man who was selling cocaine and cannabis in the tourist area of Livadhi has been arrested by the police.
During the physical search and the room where the young man was accommodated, the blue uniforms found and seized 120 doses of cocaine, 65 doses of cannabis and a sum of money, suspected to have been obtained from this criminal activity.

Following the controls to crack down on the criminal activity of selling hard drugs, thanks to the immediate administration of the information provided and in implementation of the plan of measures to guarantee order and security in tourist areas, the services of the Narcotics Investigation Section at the Vlora Police Department, in cooperation with the Himara Police Commissariat, organized and finalized the police operation codenamed "Night Strike".
As a result of this operation, citizen MP, 28 years old, resident of Elbasan, was arrested in flagrante delicto in the village of Livadhë, Himara.
During the physical search and the room where this citizen was accommodated, the Police seized as material evidence:
quantity of cocaine in about 120 doses;
quantity of cannabis narcotic substance in about 65 doses;
a sum of money, allegedly derived from this criminal activity.
From the investigative actions, it is suspected that this citizen prepared the narcotic substance in doses in the room where he was accommodated and then sold it in the tourist areas of the coastline, frequented by vacationers and foreign tourists.
The procedural materials were transferred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Vlora, for further procedural actions.
