SPAK has issued an official announcement regarding the seized assets of the former director of AKSHI, Mirlinda Karçanaj, and Ergys Agas and Ermal Beqiraj.
The Special Prosecution Office against Corruption and Organized Crime has undertaken a large-scale asset seizure operation as part of an investigation into corruption, money laundering and organized criminal activity. By decision of the Special Court, dozens of properties, bank accounts, companies and luxury goods have been seized on behalf of several individuals under investigation.
The seized assets include apartments in Tirana and coastal areas, villas and buildings in Petrela, land and plots in several cities, as well as significant areas of land with various buildings. Expensive vehicles, including the latest models, as well as a yacht, have also been frozen.

As part of the investigations, shares in commercial entities and large sums of money in bank accounts of the individuals involved and companies related to them were also seized.
According to SPAK, the total value of the seized assets reaches over 40 million euros, while investigations continue for the full documentation of the suspected criminal activity and the final confiscation of these assets.
