A 41-year-old man has shot and wounded his brother-in-law during a conflict that allegedly occurred for weak motives in Kombinat, Tirana. The police have reacted quickly by arresting the suspected perpetrator, while another person is wanted.
The incident occurred at around 15:40, at the victim's apartment on "Llambi Bonata" street. According to the Police, MT, around 41 years old, is suspected of shooting his brother-in-law, GM, 56 years old, who is in hospital and out of danger.
In the official announcement, the Tirana Police announced that thanks to the immediate response and professional intervention of the services of Commissariat No. 6, it was possible to capture and escort the perpetrator to the Police premises for further investigative actions.
During the operation, the firearm used to inflict the injury was seized.
Meanwhile, a 29-year-old man, NS, has been declared wanted, who is suspected of being present in the apartment at the time of the incident and leaving immediately afterwards. Police are continuing their work to locate and capture him.
The investigation team is at the scene and is working to clarify the circumstances and fully document the motives and dynamics of the event.
