Mirlinda Karçanaj resigns from the position of director of the National Agency for Public Procurement, accused by SPAK of violating equality in public tenders committed in collaboration and committing criminal offenses by a criminal organization and a structured criminal group.
As VNA previously reported, he will be replaced in this position by Igli Tafa, who headed the National Cyber Security Authority.
The GJKKO has imposed the security measure of "house arrest" on Karçanaj as part of the investigation into the institution's tenders.
Since being under house arrest, Karçanaj had delegated her functions to her subordinate, Romina Kostani, director of the Directorate for Coordination of the Digital Agenda and e-Gov Projects with Foreign Funds.
