Shkodra Police have escorted Gjovalin Shkambi to the police station, following his threatening statements against judges who could eventually convict his nephew, Elvis Shkambi, for the murder of judge Astrit Kalaja.
Police officers went to the 49-year-old's apartment to communicate with him and escort him. A little while ago, VNA published the statement of Gjovalin Shkambi, who threatened that "anyone who condemns his nephew will face bullets, just like Astrit Kalaja."
"When they convict that boy, he will be tried with bullets in the courtroom. Because the state has taken me into its custody. I bought him from the state. There is no judge who will convict him. He will eat bullets like Astrit Kalaja ate them!", said Gjovalin Shkambi.
Shkodra Police announced that they have taken operational action and have accompanied Shkambi to the police station, investigations and procedural actions against him continue.
