At around 01:00 this morning, on the Durrës-Tirana highway, at "Çifligu" in Sukth, the Police services found the vehicle stolen on 20.08.2025, at 20:30, in the Youth Sector, Durrës, with which, on 21.08.2025, at around 03:40, according to the report of a citizen employed at a gas station in Sukth, the amount of Lek in turnover was forcibly robbed.
Durrës Police Services were put in pursuit of the vehicle, which was moving at high speed towards Tirana, and the Tirana Police Department was also notified for assistance.
As a result of the high speed, before reaching Vora, at the roundabout of the overpass on the secondary road leading to Shijak, the vehicle went off the road and, during this time, fire was opened from inside it towards the Police officers, who, faced with this situation, responded with fire, under the necessary protection conditions. As a result, one of the perpetrators, citizen AD, 28 years old, resident of Bilalas, Shijak, was injured, who is in the Tirana Trauma Hospital, under the care of doctors, out of danger to his life.
The other person, citizen L. Ç., 27 years old, resident of Bilalas, Shijak, after resisting with weapons against Police officers, endangering their lives, was neutralized and arrested by the Durrës Police services.
During the actions of the Durrës Police, forces from the Tirana DVP Police also came to support.
A double-barreled automatic firearm, used by the two aforementioned individuals, was found at the scene.
