SPAK requested a 32-year prison sentence for the head of the Duka criminal clan, Leonard Duka, who is accused of the murder of former police officer Santiago Malko in 2018 in Tirana.
Leonard Duka declared his innocence in the court session, stating that there are no concrete facts against him and that the case is fabricated to harm him. “I have faith in justice,” he told the court.
The mother of the victim Santiago Malko declared Leonard Duka responsible for the murder of her son. She requested the maximum sentence for the defendant, stating that she does not seek life imprisonment, but the death penalty.
