Rai journalist Sigfrido Ranucci spoke on the "Now" show on Euronews Albania about the assassination attempt he made a few days ago in Italy. Ranucci said he was threatened by a mafia boss in Padua, who, according to him, had ordered Albanian assassins to threaten him.
"As I said, we have no elements that show that this was an act that originated from the Albanian criminal world. We have also talked about criminal organizations in Rome. I, for example, took protective measures because a prisoner in Padua, linked to the 'Ndrangheta, had talked to some Albanian killers to kill me. That was also the reason. I have not had any threats from the Albanian mafia," Ranucci said.
