The widow of Muçi Shaljani alias "Sheqeri", the agent of the Police Supervision Agency who was executed in the mafia assassination near Rinas airport together with Gilmando Dani on the afternoon of November 11, 2025, is accusing her brother-in-law of violence and threats.
After the woman's complaint, the forces of Police Station No. 3 in Tirana arrested Shemsi Shaljani on charges of "domestic violence" and on March 16, the Tirana Court sentenced him to prison.
Referring to the data in the investigative file, it appears that on March 13, the mother of 3 children appeared at the police station and claimed that after her husband's death, his brothers had raised claims regarding the ownership of a 4-story building and two bar-cafe premises that he had previously managed himself.
According to the woman, it was her maternal brother, Denis Morina, who had taken the keys and raised claims regarding ownership.
The widow of the murdered agent did not file a report, but the forces of Commissariat No. 3 called Denis Morina and, according to the file data, it turns out that an agreement was reached between the parties. Denis Morina handed over the keys to the building to his brother's widow, while the police advised him that if he had any claims regarding ownership, he should go to civil court.
But a day later, the woman knocked on the police station doors again and reported her brother-in-law, Shemsi Shaljani, for violence.
She told officers that he had gone to the door of the apartment, punched the door and demanded that she leave the property along with her children, as well as threatening her with her life.
The police immediately signed a protection order for the mother of 3 children, while Shemsi Shaljani was arrested on suspicion of "domestic violence." He is currently in custody, after the Tirana Court ordered him to be placed in "prison custody."
