An operation conducted by the police in the Fushë-Krujë area has not been able to be finalized with the arrest of citizen Ylli Zalla, who was able to escape the intervention of the law enforcement forces, although he was located earlier. It is reported that the services of the Krujë Police Commissariat carried out a search of his apartment, where in the yard a quantity of combat ammunition and 14 incendiary fuses were found and seized, which were administered as material evidence.
According to the data, Ylli Zalla had been wanted since November for criminal offenses related to illegal possession of weapons, while the police had managed to discover his location in Zalla, near Fushë-Krujë. However, he was able to leave before the arrival of the police forces, avoiding arrest.
Authorities say that work to capture him continues, while investigations are underway to fully document the circumstances of the case and determine legal responsibilities. Ylli Zalla is not an unknown name for justice, as he has previous criminal records, including an arrest about 12 years ago for making homemade bombs, as well as suspicions of involvement in illegal activities such as the production and sale of narcotics.
Also, according to sources, in the past he has been investigated for suspected links to elements of extremism and involvement in recruitment, while it is reported that years ago he had also threatened the life of a businessman in the cement industry in the Fushë-Krujë area.
