The father and brother of Jurgen Karaj, who is suspected of being swept away by the flow of the Dares village stream, have appealed to state institutions to intensify the search to find him.
The incident occurred at around 01:00 after midnight, when the vehicle in which two young people were traveling ended up in the stream of the village of Dares. The driver managed to get out of the car and was later arrested by the police, while the passenger, Jurgen Karaj, has been missing for 9 days.
Despite intensive searches conducted by numerous police forces and rescue teams, in a perimeter extending from the Ulza area to the place where the vehicle ended up in the stream, no trace of Jurgen Karaj has yet been found.
His father, Shaban Karaj, and brother, Endrin Karaj, are requesting additional forces and resources to continue the search operation, emphasizing that they have left the investigation of the incident to justice and are only waiting for their relative to be found.
"I just ask that they find my brother and bring him home. Let the police investigate the incident. I want to know where he is, to bury him. It's been 9 days and we have no sign of him. I call on the prime minister to commit more forces to the search," says Jurgen Karaj's brother.
