
More details have emerged regarding the murder of businessman Edmond Mëhalla, which occurred on November 30 near his business. According to the investigation, the shooter who carried out the assassination is suspected to be a foreign citizen, a lead based on the analysis of data and evidence collected so far. The perpetrator has not yet been identified, while the investigation continues and leads remain open.
As part of the investigation, the police have arrested Nevzat Spaho, who is suspected of complicity in the murder of the businessman. The 29-year-old from Prrenjas has a criminal record, including convictions for attempted murder, illegal possession of weapons, coercion by threat and theft. During questioning, Spaho denied knowing the perpetrator of the assassination and stated that the vehicle used during the execution was handed over to several people from Lezha.
Also wanted for the murder are Marcelo Arani and Armando Kola, who are suspected of being co-authors of the event. Investigations to identify the authors and fully clarify the circumstances continue intensively.
