Former Minister of Health Ilir Beqaj, who is being tried for the "Sterilization" concession affair, has spoken to the Ombudsman.
"The initiator of this process, the one who filed the complaint, is today the Ombudsman and the first on the list of witnesses. He has made public statements about me. He was happy that I was in handcuffs. He said that he knew that the case had been dismissed, but he filed the complaint.
Those who elected him know it themselves. I personally will face him here in the process.
"What surprised me wasn't the vote. It was the kiss in front of those MPs," Beqaj said, as he was interrupted by the court to not continue because the statements were unrelated to the process.
