A serious road accident occurred this Friday on the Lushnje-Fier highway, near the Savra area, on the way to Fier.
According to preliminary information, a luxury SUV, a Bentley, collided with a truck after the driver of the Bentley attempted to overtake the heavy-duty vehicle. The collision occurred from behind, causing serious damage to the front of the SUV.
As a result of the accident, one person was seriously injured and was urgently transported to the Lushnja hospital, where he is under intensive medical care. The identity of the injured person has not yet been revealed.
Immediately after the incident, police arrived at the scene of the accident and began investigations to fully clarify the circumstances. Traffic in this segment has suffered temporary congestion, while authorities have appealed for increased caution when driving, especially on roads with high traffic flow.
