A serious road accident occurred this afternoon on the Lushnje-Çermë axis, near the village of Dushk. An off-road vehicle went off the road and after flying 20-30 meters ended up in an agricultural field next to the highway.
A married couple were traveling in the vehicle, and were immediately transported by ambulance to the Lushnja Hospital. The injured are under the care of doctors and although the accident was quite serious, fortunately they are out of danger.
According to preliminary data, it is suspected that the driver of the vehicle lost control, causing the SUV to go off the road and end up in the yard of a house, where fortunately there were no people present at the time of the incident.
Traffic police have arrived at the scene and are working to fully clarify the dynamics and causes of the accident. Investigations are ongoing, pending the results of the technical expertise.
