US President Donald Trump has stated that the United States could easily open the Strait of Hormuz.
In a post on the social network Truth Social, Trump wrote that with "a little more time" the US could intervene to open this strategic oil transportation corridor.
"With a little more time, we could easily open the Strait of Hormuz, take the oil, and make a fortune," Trump wrote.
He added that such an action "would be a great source of wealth for the world."
