Donald Trump stated that Cuba wants to reach an agreement with the United States, but stressed that his current priority remains ending the conflict with Iran.
Speaking to reporters on Sunday aboard Air Force One, returning from Florida, Trump said negotiations with Cuba were underway, but that his administration would first deal with the situation in the Middle East.
"I believe that very soon we will either reach an agreement, or we will do everything we need to do," he declared.
The US president added that the United States is in communication with Cuba, but stressed that at the moment the main attention is focused on Iran and the developments of the war in the region.
