The US administration has concluded that Iran's Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, is alive.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said this in an interview with Fox News.
"We have evidence that he is alive. That is clearly what they are saying. We have no evidence to the contrary," he said in response to a question on the matter.
Earlier, The Times newspaper, citing intelligence sources, reported that Iran's Supreme Leader was receiving treatment and was not participating in the decision-making process.
