Iran has condemned attacks on bridges in its territory by the United States and Israel, calling them a "war crime in the style of ISIS terrorism."
The statement was made by Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei, following threats by US President Donald Trump to intensify strikes on Iranian infrastructure.
The reaction also comes after the B1 bridge, which connects Tehran to the city of Karaj, was partially damaged by the attacks.
"The destruction of great bridges, which stand as enduring symbols of the ingenuity, dedication, and hard work of Iranian engineers and workers, does not glorify the saboteurs," Baghaei wrote on the social network X.
