Police have provided details about an accident that occurred this afternoon in Vlora, where a 17-year-old was injured while sailing on a floating vehicle.
According to preliminary information, the incident occurred at around 16:50, while the vessel, driven by citizen EI, 32 years old, was sailing from the Karaburun Peninsula towards the Vlora pier.
During the cruise, one of the passengers, citizen S. Ç., 17 years old, is suspected of slipping and falling into the engine compartment of the vessel, suffering injuries to his leg.
The minor was transported by ambulance to the Vlora Regional Hospital, where he is under the care of doctors.
Meanwhile, the investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, has initiated procedural actions to clarify the full circumstances and causes of the incident.
