Jasin Kala, alias Jasin Avdyli, accused of being part of the Avdyli criminal clan, based in Shijak, is arrested in Belgium. He has been sentenced to 12 years in prison for drug trafficking in the "Volvo 4" case, related to the heroin processing laboratory in Brenoga, Has.
The Avdyli criminal group is one of the groups that has been operating in Shijak for a long time and has been involved in everything from vote buying to drug trafficking and plans to commit murder.

A citizen declared internationally wanted, accused by the Criminal Court of Albania as a member of a criminal group that has trafficked and sold large quantities of narcotics in several countries, is captured in Belgium and arrested with the aim of extradition to Albania.
Following the close cooperation between specialists from the Interpol Directorate and their counterparts in Belgium, during this phase of the international operation codenamed "The Wanted", based on information exchanged within the framework of an investigation into drug trafficking, it has been possible to locate and capture in Belgium the citizen:
-JK, alias JA, 58 years old, resident of Shijak.
This citizen was declared internationally wanted by Interpol Tirana, after the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime, with the decision dated 04.04.2023, assigned the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offenses "Production and sale of narcotics", committed in the form of special cooperation, that of a structured criminal group, "Laundering of the proceeds of a criminal offense or criminal activity", "Structured criminal group" and "Commitment of criminal offenses by a criminal organization and a structured criminal group".
From the investigations conducted by SPAK, it is suspected that the 58-year-old was part of a group that organized the trafficking of large quantities of narcotics and then their sale in various countries.
Also, the investigations suspect that this citizen invested the proceeds from criminal activity in 2 real estate properties (local) in Shijak.
Cooperation continues between Interpol Tirana and counterparts in Belgium to finalize procedures for the extradition of the citizen arrested in Albania.
