A large-scale fire has engulfed a bushy area near a wedding venue, on the Lezhë-Milot road, today. Due to strong winds, the flames spread rapidly, endangering several surrounding homes, as well as a large wedding restaurant located near the area affected by the fire.
Numerous firefighting forces were immediately deployed to the scene to prevent the spread of the fire and bring the flames under control. Despite their efforts, the flames managed to engulf part of the wedding venue, causing significant material damage.
According to official reports from the Ministry of Defense, fortunately there were no human casualties and the fire has been brought under control. However, the material damage in the area remains extensive and authorities are making the appropriate assessments.
