The Tirana-Durres highway will continue to face traffic restrictions as a result of the rehabilitation works of the asphalt layers in the Vorë - Dajlanit Bridge segment. The Albanian Road Authority (ARRSH), in cooperation with the State Police, has drafted a new traffic management plan, to avoid road chaos as much as possible.
According to the official announcement, starting today, October 14, from 23:00 to 06:00, there will be a temporary traffic blockage in the Vorë–Durres direction, in these main segments:
Vora – Maminas
Maminas – Sukth
Sukth – Flakë
Fllakë – Shkozeti Overpass
Shkozet Overpass – Dajlan Bridge
The works in each segment are expected to last 1 to 2 days, while the interventions are expected to be completed within this week.
To avoid traffic and delays, ARRSH suggests using the alternative route: Vorë – Maminas – Katër Rrugët e Shijakut – Durrës, during congestion times.
After the completion of the intervention in the Vorë-Durres direction, the works will be moved to the other side of the highway, Dajlanit Bridge - Vorë, according to the same plan and schedule.
The ARA emphasizes that the intervention is necessary to improve the quality of the road and calls on citizens to understand and use alternative routes to facilitate traffic and continue the work without interruption.
