Residents of the village of Zvezdë, in the municipality of Maliq, protested on Sunday due to the lack of drinking water that has been plaguing them for three decades. While investments are recently being made in the construction of a new water supply system, residents express dissatisfaction with the way the works are being carried out.
They emphasize that the investment is being implemented without a clear plan and lacks quality, while the lack of sewage systems continues to be an unresolved problem for the community.
Residents also complain that local representatives have not shown interest in their concerns and express concern that despite recent investments, the water situation may remain the same due to unfinished and poor works.
