A shark of the species known as "Pig" was caught this morning in the nets of Radhima fishermen. The species, about 1.3 meters long and weighing 35 kilograms, was immediately transported to the Radhima Fisheries Center, where biologists are expected to carry out the necessary measurements and assessments, before releasing it back into the sea.
According to specialists, this shark is a rare occurrence in Albanian waters, as it usually lives in the depths. It is thought that it may have lost its orientation, which led it to shallower areas. Experts emphasize that this species does not pose a danger to humans.
