Bus stations in Tirana are filled with citizens waiting to travel, while urban transport vehicles are circulating overcrowded, significantly making movement in the capital difficult.
This situation comes after the decision made public by the National Association of Urban Transport and the Association of Urban and Interurban Transport, according to which, as of today, the public service bus fleet will be reduced by 40%.

Transport associations have argued that this decision was made as a result of the increase in oil prices and the lack of support measures from the government to subsidize the sector.
Footage from the ground shows that the decision has taken effect immediately: numerous citizens are waiting in long lines at stations, while buses that are in circulation are overloaded, causing delays and difficulties in reaching their destinations.

Citizens express concern about the situation and demand a quick solution, while transport operators warn that, in the absence of concrete interventions, the situation could deteriorate further in the coming days.
