The Transparency Board has increased the price of fuel again. According to the latest decision, the Board has decided to increase the night price by 6 lek, from 209 to 215 lek per liter. Gasoline has also increased by 3 lek, from 175 to 178 lek per liter.
"The Transparency Board on April 14, 2026, at its next meeting, decided:
The retail price of the gasoil by-product of the SSH EN 590 standard shall be no more than 215 lek/liter, while the wholesale price shall be no more than 203 lek/liter.
The retail price of the SSH EN standard gasoline by-product should be no more than 178 lek/liter, while the wholesale price should be no more than 166 lek/liter," the announcement states.
