Sako Sakollari, administrator of several businesses in Kombinat, whose business units were demolished by IMT today, has made a strong denunciation, naming names. In a statement to News24 journalist Osman Stafa, Sakollari said that 3 years ago, the then director of IMT, Mariglen Qato, asked him for 200 thousand euros.
He said that 3 months ago, IMT inspectors went to the businesses again, and after threatening to demolish them, they demanded 50 thousand euros. He said that he has never accepted to be part of the illegality, while adding that he has filed a criminal complaint for what he claims. He said that 200 employees who work in several businesses in these units that will be demolished will be left without jobs.
"Mariglen Qato asked us for 200 thousand euros 3 years ago. But we did not accept. 3 months ago they came to us on behalf of IMT, they asked us for 50 thousand euros. They asked me to go and meet the 'boss'. But I did not accept. I will not accept to give money, as I am a man of the law and I have filed a criminal report against the IMT inspector and another. They asked me for a tip, 50 thousand euros last time, 200 thousand euros 3 years ago. With the collapse of these businesses, 200 workers are on the streets," he said./Ballkanweb
