A few hours before the announced protest by Albanian students in North Macedonia, the Minister of Justice, Igor Filkov, reacted, stating that there will be no Jurisprudence exam in the Albanian language.
Filkov said that the matter is closed and that there is no more room for discussion, emphasizing that the bar exam is a professional exam and not an administrative process.
"I think that issue is closed. We have nothing more to comment on," he said.
The minister added that the current government will not allow political interpretations of laws and the Constitution, emphasizing that the state should function solely on their basis.
He also emphasized that "the time for daily political interpretations is over," while adding that the Constitution cannot be the subject of television debates or public pressure.
