
Today in Pristina, the trial of Naim Murseli, Granit Plava and Kushtrim Kokalla, accused of the murder of Liridona Ademaj, an event that occurred two years ago, is taking place.
During the hearing, defendant Naim Murseli stated that there was no agreement to kill his wife. He said that there was no agreement to kill his wife and that he was not in the car when she was executed.
"There was no agreement to kill Liridona. I swear to you on my two children that I was not in the car when Liridona was killed, neither I nor the children, I was at least 20 meters away."
Murseli also stated that he had a good relationship with Liridona.
"Liridona and I got married on December 11, 2011 and we have two children. My relationship with her has been very good and happy. Liridona has been a wonderful woman, a devoted mother and a devoted wife."
Two of the defendants had claimed mental disorders, but the Institute of Forensic Psychiatry has determined that neither had such problems at the time of committing the criminal offense.
The hearing continues, as the court is expected to review the evidence and testimony to decide on the charges against the three defendants.
