The vote counting process from the December 28 parliamentary elections is entering its final phase, with less than 6% of polling stations still uncounted. As the process progresses, the names of the candidates who received the most votes within political entities have also been announced.
Vetëvendosje Movement
Vetëvendosje Movement leads the elections as the most voted force, exceeding the figure of 400 thousand votes at the national level. The candidate for prime minister, Albin Kurti, results in the most voted with over 331 thousand votes. He is followed by Glauk Konjufca with over 256 thousand votes, while Albulena Haxhiu and Hekuran Murati have each secured over 134 thousand votes. Donika Gërvalla is also listed on the list of most voted with over 120 thousand votes.
Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK)
In PDK, the most voted is the party leader and candidate for prime minister, Bedri Hamza, with over 146 thousand votes. After him is Arian Tahiri, while the top five also include Përparim Gruda, Uran Ismaili and Sala Jashari, each with over 43 thousand votes.
Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK)
In LDK, the candidate for prime minister Lumir Abdixhiku leads the list with over 76 thousand votes. He is followed by Hykmete Bajrami, while Ukë Rugova, Avdullah Hoti and Doarsa Kica-Xhelili complete the list of the most voted candidates.
Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK)
In AAK, which has secured six seats in the Assembly, the most voted candidate for prime minister is Ramush Haradinaj with over 39 thousand votes. Following him are Daut Haradinaj, Besnik Tahiri, Bekë Berisha and Agim Çeku.
Meanwhile, the counting of votes received from Kosovo's diplomatic missions abroad has also begun. According to official announcements, the full counting process is expected to be completed by Sunday, January 4.
