In a rare political development in the Assembly, the majority and the opposition have unanimously voted for the draft resolution on Albania's European integration process.
At a time when relations between the SP and the DP remain tense, broad consensus has been reached in the Parliament hall on this document, marking one of the few cases of joint cooperation.
115 deputies were present at the session, while the vote on the resolution resulted in 114 votes in favor and 1 abstention.
The resolution provides for a coordinated and comprehensive commitment to accelerating the country's accession process to the European Union.
It also emphasizes the importance of political and social dialogue, with the aim of building a national consensus on Albania's European priorities.
