Prime Minister Edi Rama is holding a meeting at the Prime Minister's Office with the Speaker of the Assembly, Niko Peleshi, the head of the Socialist Party parliamentary group, Taulant Balla, as well as the chairmen of the parliamentary committees.
The official reasons for this meeting have not yet been announced, but it takes place at a time when the draft budget for 2026 has arrived in the Assembly and is expected to begin consideration in parliamentary committees, before moving to a plenary session.
The meeting is seen as part of the majority's political consultations to coordinate positions and strategy during budget discussions.
Meanwhile, the next meeting of the Council of Ministers is expected to take place today.
