The chairman of the parliamentary group of the Democratic Party, Gazment Bardhi, today praised the work of SPAK, especially in the investigation into the Llogara tunnel and the role of Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku. In a press conference, Bardhi stated that the file contains communications through messages between Balluku and Evis Berberi, regarding the cancellation of the tender for the Llogara tunnel.
He added that the file of the Minister of Infrastructure, which has already been taken into custody by SPAK, "exposes the way Edi Rama's state functions."
"Rama tried to treat the functioning of the European Union the same way he treated the Llogara tunnel, thinking that he could change the rules of European democracy according to his political interests, as he did with the tender criteria for the Llogara tunnel. The Balluk file exposes the way Edi Rama's state functions," Bardhi said.
According to him, Prime Minister Rama himself is responsible for this affair, who has not yet given any public comment on the matter. “His calmness, total silence, is an indicator of involvement. Today Albanians clearly see that this is not an individual story, but part of a governance model,” said Bardhi.
He considered it necessary for justice to act to the end, while the DP will continue to closely follow the process and demand political responsibility for this issue.
