Rakip Suli is one of the mayors who promotes every job he does in the Kamëz Municipality. A year before the local elections, it seems that Suli is making preparations to reinforce the media office with new equipment and tools, which he will purchase with the budget of the institution he leads.
The Municipality of Kamëz has announced a tender with the object of “supply and installation of audio-video equipment”. The procedure has been entered into the “small value” category, which means that the offer will be submitted by operators who show interest, and the municipality will pay after the requirements are met.
According to the documents, the purchase of 3 PTZ cameras, a PTZ camera controller, and a 12-channel audio mixer is required. The municipality has also requested professional headphones, 5 microphones for podcasting, and 5 microphone arms.
Also required are broadcast cards, 3 professional video tripods with movable heads, professional LED light for video and photos, as well as 4 LED lights and 6 square softboxes for the studio.
Based on the equipment that the municipality led by Rakip Suli requires, the amount that will be spent will not be small. Instead of spending these funds on the needs of citizens, the mayor of Kamza sees his propaganda image and the publication of the highest quality chronicles as a priority.
Suli seems to be looking to compete with Edi Rama and Erion Veliaj, as you only need to log into his social networks and you will find the same posting algorithm as them, with videos of every painting he does, or appearing to explain things with actions and facial expressions, in an attempt to copy the mayor of Tirana.
