The Democratic Party has decided that its representatives will only participate in television debates if they are facing representatives of the Socialist Party. The decision was announced by Sali Berisha during today's meeting of the parliamentary group.
Berisha stressed that the opposition will no longer respond to, according to him, the strategy of the majority and Edi Rama, which aims for public opinion to deal only with the opposition, avoiding the real problems of Albanian citizens.
According to the new instruction, none of the DP officials will be present in the television studio in front of the analysts, whom Berisha described as “in the service of the government.” He added that this situation constitutes the “greatest effect of censorship” in the country.
