The Socialists object to the failure to make a decision by the Regulatory Commission at the CEC on: “The approval of some procedural deadlines related to the partial elections for Mayor in the Municipalities of Tirana, Berat, Tepelena, Cërrik, Mat and Vlorë, dated November 9, 2025”; “The approval of some technical characteristics of the ballot paper for the partial elections for Mayor in the Municipalities of Tirana, Berat, Tepelena, Cërrik, Mat and Vlorë, dated November 9, 2025”; and “The use of electronic voter identification devices in the partial elections for Mayor in the Municipalities of Tirana, Berat, Tepelena, Cërrik, Mat and Vlorë, dated November 9, 2025”; "The use of recording cameras and monitors for the display of ballots at the Vote Counting Stations in the partial elections for Mayor in the Municipalities of Tirana, Berat, Tepelena, Cerrik, Mat and Vlora, dated November 9, 2025"; according to the draft decisions proposed by the State Election Commission at the meeting of the Regulatory Commission dated October 6, 20251
Tomorrow, October 8, the draw will be held to determine the panel of judges that will review the case. This afternoon, the Socialist Party also announced the candidates for mayor of 6 municipalities in the country, including the Municipality of Tirana.
