Marko Dajti, the leader of the Left Front, is expected to be the next candidate for the Tirana Municipality. Sources for A2CNN indicate that Dajti will announce his candidacy within a few days to challenge Ogerta Manastirliu of the Socialist Party and Florian Binaj.

We are being represented by Erion Veliaj, who has no connection to the Albanian left, and seeing that our votes are being misused by a man who has no connection to the left, I decided to represent the left," Dajti expressed, among other things.
