Democratic Party MP Jorida Tabaku has ruled out the possibility of running for Tirana Mayor in the local by-elections. Invited to the A SHOW show on Syri TV, Tabaku emphasized that her battle is in parliament, ruling out the possibility of facing Ogerta Manastirliu, the Socialist Party candidate.
"My focus is on parliament. The municipality is not part of my ambitions. I will do my best to represent the DP and the citizens who voted for me," she declared.
The MP also commented on the need for structural changes in the management of the Municipality of Tirana and criticized the way it is currently being administered: "The Municipality needs a change of system, not simply a change of mayors. This way of behaving must change."
