The Together Movement has confirmed that it will run its own candidate in the early elections for the Municipality of Tirana, excluding the possibility of a joint candidate with the traditional opposition. MP Redi Muçi stated on A2 CNN that Tirana is the bastion of this political force and that they will not serve as a "tool" for the Democratic Party.
"Our position has been and remains clear: we do not cooperate with the opposition, we do not become a crutch for a DP figure to replace an SP figure. We aim to convince the electorate disappointed by both the SP and the DP," said Muçi.
Regarding the candidacy, he did not rule out the possibility that the leader of the Joint Movement, Arlind Qori, could be in the race, emphasizing that the decision will be made by the party structures after the official announcement of the elections.
