In today's session, the Assembly approved the composition of the Parliamentary Committees for the 11th Legislature. In the vote that took place at 17:00, the opposition was absent, making the approval pass only with the votes of the majority. However, the names of the chairmen for the 3 committees, which were reserved for the opposition, still remain to be confirmed.
Meanwhile, the names of the chairmen, vice-chairmen, and secretaries for the other 7 committees in the direction of the majority were approved by a majority vote during the session.
The entire procedure lasted only about 4 minutes, and after approval with 77 votes in favor and 1 against, Speaker Peleshi declared the session closed.
It is now expected that in the next session, President Bajram Begaj's decrees on the names of the Rama 4 government cabinet will be approved in Parliament.
