Entrepreneur Dritan Gremi has announced his candidacy for the Tirana Municipality elections and is seeking to collect signatures to run as an independent.
Invited to the show "The Unexposed" on MCN TV, Gremi was asked about the insinuations circulating that he could be a candidate brought in by Erion Veliaj's side. Gremi stated that he knows Veliaj, but has not had "a relationship with him that could make him dirty."

A few days ago, I came across a post by Veliaj with his son who had a birthday. The man being a man, made a comment and I responded. What did I see there? Everyone was there, except for those with whom he gave and received. This shows what this world is like, how he had created relationships with those people who abandoned him. I have known Veliaj but I have not had any relationship that could make me dirty.
