The leader of the Vetëvendosje Movement, Albin Kurti, commented at today's press conference on political developments and the latest statements of the LDK regarding the 15 signatures presented by the leader of this party, Lumir Abdixhiku, as well as the mention of Vjosa Osmani's candidacy.
Kurti stated that LDK has not clarified what these 15 signatures represent, while, according to him, a guarantee of 66 votes is being sought in a secret voting process.
"The LDK leader does not say who he has 15 signatures for, but he is asking for guarantees for 66 votes in the box, in a secret ballot. So 15 signatures without names, dated the day before yesterday, he is showing them to you and not to me, and he is asking for guarantees for the votes in the box," Kurti declared.
According to him, such an approach is neither logical nor serious. He added that LDK is mentioning names of candidates without first making the relevant decisions within its structures.
"It is totally illogical and not serious. Whoever wants to cooperate with us must bring a list of 15 signatures and the name of the LDK candidate. Then we can add 15 signatures and discuss. A name cannot be mentioned without the seal of the LDK Presidency. Let the Presidency meet and clarify what those signatures are for. I do not determine the LDK candidate," Kurti said.
