The Immunity Council was expected to address today the issue of Belinda Balluku's mandate, for which SPAK is seeking her arrest, but this did not happen after the meeting was postponed.
The reason for this is the request of the Socialists, who claim that the Immunity and Mandates Council should convene after the Constitutional Court issues a decision on this issue. Socialist Party MP Erjon Braçe, when asked about this fact, stated that Balluku is without immunity while an investigation is being conducted against her.
"He has no immunity, as long as he is being investigated, he is without immunity. An accusation has been filed against him, he is being investigated and he is presumed innocent until a final court decision, what did I not hear in the Assembly. Ask the Speaker of the Assembly how the Mandates Council coordinates its work," he said.
