The Constitutional Court's judicial body will meet this Tuesday to make a decision on the appeal of Prime Minister Edi Rama, who opposes the suspension from office of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku.
The hearing is expected to be long, as the eight constitutional judges will present their positions and arguments before the voting process takes place.
The final decision is expected to be made public today. The court will also clarify whether there was any interference by the judiciary in the executive branch in this case, and will provide an interpretation on the issue of whether or not a minister enjoys the legal immunity of a member of parliament.
