Let me clarify in advance: No one excluded me, I left on my own, both for hygienic distance and for a conflict of interest. This is completely normal. Today, if I want to vote, even without my name, anywhere in any branch, I go and vote, because they know me personally and give me the ballot even without my name. I can go to any meeting and they say come and sit in the front row. Because deep down they know who is who, they don't even believe many of the accusations they make or support. And this moral corruption of theirs, this lack of courage and hiding of thoughts and concerns is going to sink them badly. I mean, I don't take this criticism personally, because I have always had the invitation from them. I simply don't accept it.
I just want to say something about exceptions:
Exclusion is not a statistic, did you exclude 3 or 4, did you exclude 20 or 35. Exclusion is a message. And it is a very strong and deeply negative and destructive message for the organization. Exclusion tells people that you are not safe, that your investment and commitment is a Pyramid Scheme; you have invested for years but one day you wake up and find out that your shares are no longer there, that the board does not recognize your shares. This is a political pyramid scheme. There is this kind of uncertainty.
This type of message destroys, alienates, diminishes, and it is difficult to bring people back together. Another, someone without a long history in the party, thinks; when they zeroed out the shares of those who have worked for that organization for years, they write the rest of us names with a pencil and erase them with an eraser, meaning that no one counts us. Then why should we invest there?
Edi Rama's government is in the days when it has less public and political legitimacy than ever before. It has nothing to say to Albania anymore. It has nothing to give it anymore. It has no arguments with which to gain superiority in the public debate.
So what do you do under these conditions and in the face of this opportunity? Send the message that you are a Pyramid Scheme.
For now, most of that organization is still under anesthesia. The accusation and the excuse “This traitor, that sold out” are still going on. But when the anesthesia starts to wear off little by little, they will realize what a catastrophe they have caused by accepting the violence of the leadership against the members, but it will be too late. The elections will show them how late they are.
It's like the work of Nastradin. Nastradin was robbing a shop, sawing off the lock. They asked Nastradin what he was doing? He was playing the violin. Which violin, since we don't hear music? Come, listen to his music tomorrow.
They too will hear their music in a year's time in the municipal elections. It will be revealed there what advantage and favoritism they have given to other parties, supporting the leadership's violence against its members, and perpetuating that violence with accusations and insults.
They immediately start saying: Deal with the government, not the opposition. They have learned this refrain. That is, whoever says don't mess with us has considered himself a fool with flaws, because they only say don't mess with a fool, because he is irresponsible. A normal person accepts that others mess with him, and recognizes responsibility and accountability.
Instead of opposing the violence and the wrong message, they tell the president, secretary, and vice presidents, "You're wrong, you're taking our necks," and they continue to support the violence and the wrong message.
But in the end, everyone pays the price for their actions. They are making Edi Rama's survival easier, as much as possible. The Socialists thank them wholeheartedly, albeit silently.
