The administration of the Assembly of Kosovo has announced that the constitutive session, which began on August 6, will continue tomorrow, August 8, at 11:00, in the plenary hall.
The process of constituting the new legislature remained unfinished in the first session, as the leader of the Vetëvendosje Movement, Albin Kurti, did not propose a candidate for the position of Speaker of the Assembly.
Kurti stated that in order to continue with the constitution of the institutions, a political agreement must first be reached on the issue of the president, and then proceed with the election of the Speaker of the Assembly and the formation of the new Government.
Saturday's session is expected to show whether political parties have reached any agreement that would pave the way for the conclusion of the process of constituting the Assembly and creating new Kosovo institutions.
